FREE Injury Screenings

Long Trail Physical Therapy Clinics offer free injury screenings. This consists of an assessment and direction for treatment should the therapist feel the need for formal physical therapy. In some cases your insurance may need a doctors referral in order for treatment to begin. The front desk folks will be able to help you determine what is required in order for treatment to be covered.

Post-offer, pre-employment screening

The financial impact of lost productivity often surpasses the cost of direct medical care. Keeping workers injury free and productive is the first step in changing that equation.  Long Trail offers pre-employment screenings for your potential employees following your initial employment offer. Our screening tests are based on the essential job functions performed for a specific position and are typically scored as a PASS or FAIL.

Graston Technique is used by therapists, chiropractors and athletic trainers to effectively break down scar tissue. Using stainless steel instruments, the technique combes over and "catches" fibrotic tissue. This allows for treatment of soft tissue lesions and finding the root cause of pain. Once the tissue dysfunction is found, the instruments then break up the scar tissue, which is absorbed back into the body. Using stretching, strengthening and ice as part of the treatment and rehab process, a soft tissue injury can be rebuilt into healthy and functioning tissue once again.
